Deep Tissue – Neuromuscular Massage
If you’ve been overdoing it in the gym or through strenuous work commitments, this could be the ideal treatment for you. This massage penetrates deep into the muscle tissue, going beyond the exterior layers of the muscle to resolve any points of tension.
For pain relief, NMT is a special deep tissue massage technique to help relieve pain. Although it works at a deep level to relieve tightness, muscular tension and pain, scar tissue in the muscles it is NOT painful but “hurts so good”.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a form of thermal hydro-therapy. Using smooth, warmed, heat-retaining stones as extensions of the hands, clients receiving a well-administered hot stone massage will seek it again and again. For some, stone therapy brings unrivaled deep tissue release and alignment. For others, the heat of the stones gently softens muscular tension and melts away emotional stress. On a spiritual plane, the stones are from the earth and have an extremely grounding quality adored by many. Grounding can be very helpful to individuals struggling with issues related to sleep, headaches, dizziness, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed or scattered.

The heat of the stones, combined with the soothing gliding massage movements, warms and relaxes the muscles to a much greater extent than what can be achieved by massage alone.

Sports Massage
Anyone who exercises on a regular basis could benefit from this treatment. The main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension, which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity.

A feather light massage designed to activate the lymphatic system, has proven successful in the case of stagnation of lymph flow. Effective for cosmetic surgery, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty and lymph node removal.

Shiatsu
An ancient Japanese technique with a moderate to strong touch using shi (finger) and atsu (pressure) to stimulate and restore balance to the body by releasing blockages along the energy pathways.

Tui Na
This ancient form of finger pressure and manipulation focuses on vital energy points of the body, enhancing the flow of qi along the meridians.
This treatment is good for children. It is generally done through clothing unless ointment is required. Often used to treat children with emotional problems, effective at treating colds and repetitive illness.

Indian Head Ritual
This traditional massage focuses on the scalp, hair and can be extended to include the neck, shoulders and upper arms. This massage helps to relieve built up tension in the head, calms the spirit and promotes relaxation. Varying combinations of gentle, soothing and brisk, stimulating movements are then used to suit the mood, needs and preferences of the individual.

Seated Massage
Does your neck and shoulders hurt? Don’t have time for an hour massage? This massage will make you feel better in 15 minutes. Massage is fast and effective for tension and pain relief. It is a great introduction to the benefits of therapeutic massage and great for someone who has never had a massage or may be shy about disrobing for full body table massage. You remain fully clothed and relax in a special massage chair.

Back Ritual
Engage all your senses with an invigorating back scrub combined with steaming towels steeped in herbs and essences. A deep, vigorous massage using a muscle ease balm containing camphor and ginger provides quick relief from aches and pains. Completely uplifting.

Traditional thai massage
This unique form of massage (also known as yoga massage) has been handed down through centuries. Based on the application of pressure along the energy lines of the body, together with stretching of muscles, this massage stimulates energy flow and eases muscles, replacing tension and stress with a feeling of energy and peace. Thai massage is performed on a clothed body on the mat on the floor rather than on a raised table, the therapist uses her hands, feet and elbows. I recommend you wear a T shirt and shorts.

Thai hot herbal massage
Experience this traditional Thai therapy, unchanged since the 18th century, when organic poultices filled with aromatic herbs were administrated to soldiers returning home with muscle aches and bruises. The balancing poultices used today open pores and release a deep medicinal heat to the muscles to release tension and revitalize your spirit. Swe Thai Massage
This is an inovative blend of Traditional Thai massage with Swedish massage style.
Using warm herbal oils that release their therapeutic properties into the skin nurture and caress the body. This healing treatment brings relief to tired muscles, through kneading and circular hand movements, while muscles and joints are stretched to release tension bringing harmony and balance to the body.

Barefoot Massage- Chavuti Thai
Is a new and luxurious form of deep tissue body massage performed with the feet. Barefoot massage has been practiced in Asia for over 3,000 years and it evolved through Tibet, China, Thailand and Japan. This is a full body oil massage which begins with Traditional Thai twists and stretches design to open and relax your body. The therapist then holds onto a rope suspended above their head and applies warm therapeutic oil with bare feet using long deep rhythmical strokes. During a session the charka and meridian lines in the body are massaged releasing blocked energy making you feel light and refreshed and energezied.
This facilitates a deep muscle flush, deeper relaxation of the muscles and nervous system, release of lactic acid and metabolic waste at deeper levels than table massage, release of deep trigger points (hyper-irritable muscle spots), and deep adhesions that impair full muscle range and function.

In the case of Chavutti Thirumal a recommended commitment is for a ten session treatment plan. Fijian Massage

The therapist may sit or stand and the client may remain clothed while reclining on a floor mat. Fijian massage does not use oils or lotions.

Shirodara
Pouring oil onto the third eye, a point located in the middle of the forehead, balances the mind, body and soul.
